My first post in a few years.

I highly doubt anyone is reading this...But if you are that's great, thanks for stopping by! I deleted all previous posts because I was being harassed by multiple people for not giving out any of my "secrets" to the autograph game. I don't exactly want to make this long-winded but here's a piece of advice, LEARN YOURSELF. That's how I learned, and I continue to learn every time I go graphing. This blog is not about helping others-as selfish as it may sound. This blog is about me analyzing signatures and archiving my autograph collection. If you don't like what I have to say, don't read my page. With the exception of a small group of people I know from here and there I tend to keep my mouth shut anymore. I'm not going to try to help people like I used to do. Doing so only hindered MY ability to graph, so I will never do it again.

ANYWAY, now that that's all out of the way, let's proceed with the fun stuff. Although I've been graphing all year(2014-2015) I didn't feel the sudden urge to post until now. I may post some things from earlier this season only so my OCD doesn't fully takeover. So here are the results from 1-12-15.

My main goal for the day was to add a few former Pens to my 09 Cup puck collection, so I did exactly so. Coming off of the bus Matt Cooke and Mike Yeo signed pucks for me (2 from Mike, one sig-puck and one 09 Cup puck.) I asked Matt if he would sign a sig puck for me also, and he declined. Still I thanked him for signing. About 2 seconds after, Ryan Suter came over and signed a USA puck, as did Zach Parise. This all happened in the matter of about 1 minute...while it was raining all over my freshly signed pucks. I opted not to wipe them off in an effort to keep the water out of the ink. Instead I just put them on the floorboard of my truck and turned the heat on high-Worked like a charm! Time for some rest before the next event.

About an hour later, I was heading up to Baseball Card Castle in Cranberry, PA for Steve Downie. He is one of the few Pens that's managed to evade me for the entirety of the season. I reluctantly paid $25 to get the graph. The final product was worth it though, one less Penguin I ever have to worry about. One thing I noticed is that Steve was signing pucks with a old crusty metallic silver Sharpie and they were coming out like crap. No offense to BCC, but if you're going to make people PAY to get someone's autograph, at least have the correct tools. I gave Steve my pen and he actually complimented the way it wrote. That would be the first time that's ever happened? Steve said "good flow." Apparently he's a pro at signing autographs. Who would've thought?!

I now had t-minus 1 hour to get down to a 970 ESPN Radio event in Pittsburgh. I walked in as Zach Sill and Phil Bourque were on a commercial break, and they both politely signed while enjoying their Miller
Lite(Which I promptly enjoyed after getting the graphs.) Zach signed a Pens sig puck, and Phil signed a 1992 Cup team photo that I'm working on. Zach's signature is still pretty nice compared to most NHLers, we'll see what happens to it after a few years. What a great end to a long day logging over 200 miles on the old truck!
